Birthday Brunch
Due to family schedules we combined four April birthdays and had a brunch (the only open time slot we were all available). Abbey requested a "chocolate milk" birthday cake and picked out at great one. Up until recently she had never had chocolate, but between the M & M's for potty training a pretend chocolate milk cartoon she plays with at daycare she's figured it out, and let me tell you it ranks high in her preferences. She was also introduced to bacon at the brunch and it went over very well.
This was the year for games. She got Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, a Ladybug Game, Fairytale Memory, etc. Our first game a few months ago was Hi Ho Cherry-o and she loved it so much that we decided to go for more. She is really enjoying them.
3 years old, what a wonderful time. I thought it couldn't get any better than 2, but some how it is. I am just SO thankful every day for my daughter.

What an amazing sight to see your happy family. You are so blessed to have each other. Abbey is such a joy and is growing more beautiful every year. Wow, hard to believe she is three. It really does get better and better. My big girl is almost six and what fun we are having. My baby girl is almost two...wow, goes so fast. I know that you are enjoying every moment. It is so heart warming to see that huge "Abbey" smile. I can still remember how she sat on your lap on gotcha day and wouldn't stop sobbing. Life is good!
