Too Tired to Blog

Just wanted to say that I am too tired to really say anything. My first day back at work was great. My class was very well behaved, yay! My substitute was extremely organized.
Abbey loves her daycare and is so happy to go.
I was down for the count yesterday with my monthly migraine. Abbey was crying and climbing on me to get up, which I could not do, so my mom had to come to the rescue. That made Abbey very happy and she was giggling and squealing with delight the rest of the day while I conked out.

It looks like the creators of I Love You Like Crazy Cakes have come out with another great book. Check it out on Amazon. It will be available May 1, 2007, but you can pre-order now.

Thanks so much for the book plug. It will be a 'must have'!

So sorry about the migraine...definitely not fun (especially after your first day back at work). How great it is that your Mom is so close and can come and help with Abbey (by the way, are you calling her Abbey now, or still ZZ?).

It's been just over two months, but can you even remember your life without your precious daughter?

Thanks for the book tip, Katie's really digging books (and we don't even THINK about going down for a nap or nighttime without reading Googdnight Moon and Pat the Bunny. Other books are welcome, but GM & PTB are necessary!

Except for the migraine, I'm glad your transition back is going so well.

I'm really excited about the new Rose Lewis book...I think I had like 10 different people give me Crazycakes during the wait. I never had the heart to tell any of them that I already had it!

Thanks for the heads up on the book. I'm going to head on over and preorder one. Sorry to hear about your migraine. If you lived a little closer we could swap babysitting for those monthly migraines. Feel better soon!

I'm SOOO glad to hear you say that Abbey was happy to go to day care. Since I'll be going back to work full-time, leaving Lauren in the care of others has been my biggest concern.

I would love to see you post about how you got Abbey prepared for day care and if you took her a little each day for a period of time first.

    Donna :)

I am so glad the migraine is gone. I was wondering why you were not at church--now I know. I am glad your Mom was able to come by & help you with Abbey. It is good for Abbey to bond with the Grandma (or whatever you call her in Chinese).Call me the next time & I will come on by. I am glad that your first day back at school & Abbey's first real day at her daycare was so good! That is such a relief for you I am sure. Love, Hugs, Kisses & Prayers to the three of you (I am including Grandma)!

It doesn't seem possible that you have been home with Abbey for 2 months already. I am a single mom waiting for my daughter in China to come home. It helps to read your struggles and blessings and know that someday my life will also be completely transformed. I hope you get to feeling better!

Catching up on your blog- Abbey looks so happy and is doing so well, it just warms my heart! I'm sorry about your migraines though. Doesn't China seem like a distant memory, with all that has changed and happened since then? My life used to go along at what seems now like a snail's pace! Happy new year Christi!
