What we found at home

Christmas outfits from Auntie, Rebecca, and Joyce.

Balloons from Auntie that I LOVE to play with. Lao Lao and I think it's funny to bonk our heads on them.

My new Hippo from Scott, Kim, and Madison. Mommy really likes the orchid!

Auntie and Ashley bought every snack the store had for me to try!

    Cristi,
Thanks for keeping us all updated on your journey. It's been great.

Have you considered maybe taking some time away from the blog, to just go be a mom for a while?

You've just been through the biggest thing in your life. Your daughter has been stressed in ways you'll never know. I don't think anybody here would mind if you said, "hey guys, I'm taking some time away from the blog, mommyhood is calling."

    Just a thought...

    Christi,
I think Abbey will treasure all of your "blogging thoughts" during this deliriously joyful time. What a magnificent online scrapbook she will have. Maybe "anonymous" is not a blogger but my perspective is that it takes less time than a babybook. In fact, this post probably took you less than 5 minutes. Am I right? I consider your blog the icing on the cake of your "mommyhood". Keep blogging...

Whoa Baby! I just read the account of your flight home from China! My husband looked stricken when I told him about it. I think I can speak for everyone reading this blog when I say--- you win the prize for the worst flight home from China EVER!!! Truly horrifying. Now you know just how patient you are capable of being. Remarkable, Christi, what you and Abbey have been through together! You have what it takes to be a Mother... Courage! And now you can draw from each difficult experience to help you through the next. Never forget what you have dared to do. Abbey (as all babies who have survived abandonment, an
orphanage, and a journey to a new land) deserves a Mother as brave as she is... & that is exactly what our Father in Heaven has given to her! Well done! Fondly, Erin & Libby Mei (you can see us at myadoptionwebsite.com/libby)

It was good to see pics of you & ZZ at church & with ZZ being held by Auntie Cynthia! They both look very happy. All those lovely gifts--it looks like an early Christmas! I hope she had fun in the toddler's room & I can't wait to take care of her myself. Much love, hugs, kisses & prayers!
