First Oreo

| View Show | Create Your Own
I never dreamed I would give my child an Oreo within my first few days of meeting her, but when we were at the California Kids Club in Shenzen she was given one and all the other kids were having them, so we went for it. Her head is wet because it was so unbelievably hot and humid there! Obviously she got into the cookie experience. Not to worry though, last night she was gobbling up lima beans, carrots, and peas.

It is amazing seeing the difference in her face and eyes from then to now! You can tell she enjoyed the cookie then, but now you can tell she is enjoying LIFE and everything and everyone around her! She is just precious and we still can't wait to meet her. BTW, I wish my kids would eat vegatables like Abbey! lol

To think just a few weeks ago all she knew was rice cereal and milk. Life is so good. She looks so happy and I love those big brown eyes.

I love how she starts out eating so daintily, with the little pinky held up. Even better is the classic finish (it's as if she just couldn't help herself!).

God is so good. ZZ is wonderful. I miss all of our group...

I think a balanced diet SHOULD include vegetables and Oreos! She looks adorable eating her cookie!

Well..where would the world be without yummy goodies sometimes! My personal favorite is ice cream but I will admit an Oreo will tempt me now & then. Like someone else commented it's quite amazing it has so taken little time for her to adapt to things such as Costco pizza, Oreos & Goldfish! Compared to a bottle she must think she is in heaven! It's good that she gets her share of veggies also--help her get good strong bones & low blood sugar (to combat the Oreos!). I can't wait to come & visit & see her again! She is a real charmer with that shy little look until she figures out you might be fun & then she sort of lets loose! LOL
