Dinner at Lucy's on Shamian Island

We had some "American" food tonight at Lucy's Diner with friends from our group. On the left is Molly and her brother Patrick. She lives about 45 minutes away from me and we've known each other for about a year and a half. I was thrilled to find out that our babies were at the same orphanage and that we would travel together. Next are Lee and Julliet from San Antonio. Gene and I are loving getting to know them. Then there is Karen, she is here with her sister and BIL and 3 nephews as they get their baby girl. She will be going on a side trip to Chengdu to the panda preserve in a couple of days. And finally Gene. He and I are very happy to say that the White Swan has better internet access. We can now see the blog and the speed seems to be consistent. I would be posting alot more photos but we have to resize each one. Anyway it was funny at dinner that we were in China eating quesadillas and listening to American music, we just want to do it all, so we will be hitting all the restaurants around here. As you can see it is balmy and warm. The weather feels just like Hawaii here.

We liked Lucy's burgers and fries. Quesadillas were good too. Is the noodle shop still open next to the WS? It was good and cheap! I'm so excited and anxious to see you and Abbey together!
