Happy Heart

A mom who is in China right now got to visit Yangdong orphanage this week and she saw my daughter!! Here is what she had to say....
"Christi, I didn't get your email until this evening. I did see your Zhuozhuo though! I remember her!! She is beautiful, strikingly beautiful. When we arrived at the SWI and were escorted up to the room, the girls were all standing or sitting in the center of the room. Two were still in their cribs because they were just waking up and Zhuozhuo was one of the girls still in the crib. Gosh, I wish I had gotten a photo for you. She is so pretty and was just happily standing there waiting her turn and looking at us as we arrived at the doorway. I will post tonight about the orphanage. I hope you get your trip date soon. These girls all need to be home with their forever families! They are all very pretty girls and very sweet. There are a couple that were naughty we were told, but all of the other girls are sweet, easy going, happy, and gentle! "

Of course I was clinging to every word. It seems so amazing that she saw my baby this week! Her later posts about the orphanage were very difficult. There were no pictures allowed inside. They said it was very hard to see, process, and absorb it all. My agency had said that we couldn't go because it's over three hours away, but a few of us were determined so our travel agency has made arrangements. I know it will be very hard but I just feel very strongly that I need to go there and see it all.

Now I am having sweet dreams of my happy baby standing in her crib. Mommy is coming soon!

    Christi,
What a wonderful sense of peace this must give you to know that your little whisper is safe and sound; there are so many signs in life that someone greater than ourselves is choregraphing the dance, and this is one of them; it's incredible, I don't know of many others who have been given such comforting news during their wait.
