Constant Flow
The other thing that struck me about this video was that new babies were already filling the cribs of the little girls that had just been adopted. We each have our little place in the flow, but everyday babies are adopted, and in the days following more are abandoned. It's mind boggling when you step back and think about it.

Yes, that video was heartbreaking. I just don't understand why this slowdown is occurring. It's hurting the babies the most.

How sobering to think our babies may be in a cold sterile crib like the ones shown. It is so very frustrating when there are so many beautiful, stocked, warm, inviting nursuries just waiting for a sweet baby to fill them. (one in my house included) I want my baby now!

Thank you for sharing that video ....I have always said as difficult as the wait is for us adults, the little kids endure much more. May we get our referrals and TAs very soon.

Those cribs looked like little cells to me (and were the babies sleeping on wood??). Despite the presence of all the other babies and the nannies, it felt so sterile and lonely.
Baby shortage? What shortage?
Heartbreaking...
